Office of Special Services

The Office of Special Services at University of the Southwest is directed by Dr. Mary Harris. This office exists to assist students who have documented disabilities as they pursue their educational goals.

In order to be eligible for services, students MUST disclose their disability to appropriate faculty and staff at University of the Southwest and provide the appropriate documentation to
Dr. Mary Harris (Mabee Center for Teaching and Learning, Office 144).

Students may contact Dr. Harris at 575-392-6564, 575-392-6565 (ext. 1056), or 800-530-4400 to make an appointment.

If students do not have the required documentation of disabilities but believe they may have undiagnosed disabilities, they may contact Dr.Harris to discuss testing options.
